Phoenix template

We are happy to announce that with our new template Phoenix we are introducing a new era in YOOtheme templating: our shiny new Warp template framework. Warp is what's under the hood of a YOOtheme template. With Phoenix, you get a wide range of awesome new features. First of all, there is our amazing new multi-column dropdown menu, which is a true novelty for the Joomla world: You can set as many columns as you want, set the column width in the backend, display big icons for second level items ... you gotta check it out yourself, it looks so cool!

Phoenix also comes with lots of modules, some of them with color variations. Now you can also show icons in your module headers. Phoenix provides an endless supply of combinations of module styles, colors, badges and icons. The new 2-1-3 column ordering makes Phoenix super search engine friendly. The two nested 3-column-layouts makes your website amazingly flexible. And also, this is our fastest template ever, sporting a new way of CSS/JS compression and background image sprites.

Feature list

  • Built with the new Warp template framework
  • Amazing new muti-column dropdown menu
  • Icons in module headers
  • Lots of modules with color variations, endless combinations with icons and badges possible
  • 2-1-3 column ordering for search engine friendliness
  • Our fastest template ever, using image sprites
  • Works with all YOOtools (Joomla 1.5 only)

Got a lot to mod in this template. But yup, it's worth modding. Thanks YOOtheme for the fantastic work.

    First things that I'll mod:

    1. Mod this with yoo_level (because I really think yoo_level is the best theme ever, of course after much mods)
    2. Complete Menu UI change

and much much more, because it just doesn't look WEB 2.0 enough :P Best thing that I love is that you can load a module in menu. How better can it be? Gotta add that to Level template.

Time to work :D Thanks YOOtheme!

    New standard on template market.
Power and the flexibility of Phoenix are incredible!
Phoenix is not just about a template anymore – it’s about Design Platform.
Performance and number of futures in a good balance (guys even did sprite files)
And my favourite - the SEO friendly loading order.
I think Phoenix established the new standards on Joomla template market.
    Another big step to PERFECTION!
  • Is it possible to have the warp 5 framework as a package downloadable?
    (sorry of my english)

Looks great. I wish I waited to update to this instead of Level. Mostly because my logo looks better on a white background.

You can easily mod Level template. Go into /images/ and edit 2 very very small images (you can find it out so easily ^.*)
And then go into /css/ folder pull out layout.css and edit some color code (find "div#middle") etc... I stayed up all night and added new upgrades to my modded Level template (load module in "menu" from Phoenix), this is just perfect now. I like my Flipping book component flippable just at a hover of a mouse on a menu :D

Thanks YOOtheme! I just can't wait until Aug 09!

It looks great! Has anyone implemented it with Virtuemart? Will it have any trouble with it?
  • Hi! First congratulation for this very cool Template and exciting Menu System!!

Is it poosible to integrating the new FW with the menu modding to existing Templates like "Evolution"?

    Thanks!

Looks great, but I'm trying to integrate some of the "Module Class Suffix's" from Level (like Concave, Rounded, or Window) into this new template. I do like the current ones they have, but I just feel that these styles would look better in Phoenix.

Does anyone know how to go about adding custom module classes to this template?

Wow! this template is beautiful. I need to save some for the membership. You guys rock!
  • This looks a fantastic template. Very new to Joomla so this could be a stupid question. We need a site with the "weapper" functionality. Can you have wrapper pages with this template. I see them in templates you had a year ago but not in recent ones.

I'm stuck. Love this look. How do I get rid of the the Phoenix article on the front page. What position is it in? I want to replace it with a feed from another joomla site while keeping the look of the module. Help
