ZOO 2.5 STABLE released

There it is! Say goodbye to the ZOOtools, say hello to the Widgetkit

Today we are excited to announce that ZOO 2.5 is stable now! As always a big thank you to all of our BETA testers! ZOO 2.5 is now available to the public for free. The new release is about integrating ZOO with our upcoming Widgetkit and a much improved item ordering: Make sure to read about its new Features in our previous blog post.

Important Upgrade Information

We have spent some time to improve the upgrade path, so upgrading should be easier. Please make sure to backup prior to the upgrade. Keep in mind that once you've upgraded, you won't be able to downgrade again without a backup. As stated above, the ZOOtools will be removed by this update. Please also make sure to install the latest Widgetkit version (BETA16 or higher)! Where applicable the Video element will be converted to the new Media element by this update.

Grab your own copy of ZOO 2.5 and take it for a spin.

Im getting the next error if i click on a product or category in product or business directory after update from 2.4 tot 2.5:

If i remove widgetkit (using beta 15) then it works okey. What to do?

Is it normal that social bookmark still there? I read in the previous post it should be replace by social button...

I`ve upgraded to 2.5. Now all my image elements doesnt work.
I deleted my old image elements and added new image element. But it still no work ..
Do u know a solution ?

ZOO 2.5 is perfect as all german product. Please give me a answer: where Can I add on ftp a videos what I add in widget in mediaplayer. What is place or folder structure for him?

So far I am very impressed by the update process. I updated 3 different sites (Joomla 1.5.24 with Warp 5.5 and 1.7.2 with Warp 6) from Zoo 2.4.18 to 2.5 and all went well and smooth - no Errors at all. Just great ! - many thanks...

Everything looks good - but your lower case font "tails" (like g and q, etc.) are getting cut off in google chrome. FYI

Even though I feel you offer the best product, I have had enormous issues dealing with Zoo on my site and decided to move away from using it. Fairly experienced Joomla user but could not for the life of me make it respond, and do what never worked..
