New Created style doesn't show up in Template profile chooser.

I created a style just like the documentation described. But the style isn't displayed in the pulldown menu.
I use Balance as a template. In other templates i used the same methode and there it worked fine. Has this something to do with warp 6.1?
My Own style folder looks like this:
Folder: css - custom.css - layout.css - style.css
Folder: images - logo_company.png - menu_dropdown_level1_active.png - menu_sidebar_level2_color.png - menu_sidebar_parent_color.png - mod_box_color_header.png - mod_box_color.png - mod_box_header.png - page.jpg
Folder: layouts - template.php
By the way i could not find a 'Default' style in the 'style' folder. In the documentation is refered to that, to base you own style on.

Best Regards John

Not even a we're working on fixing this or anything? Just a "Follow the rules".

It's like they know we will keep coming back for their templates, regardless of how terrible the support is. I can't make a client happy til this is fixed.

We have this same problem. Would love a fix or answers on this issue of not being able to add styles and have them show up in the profile list.

Hi all,

Did this get fixed in the end or are we still waiting to hear back on this?

Thanks,

Sean.

Sorry Mustaq, didn't wanted to break the rules.
Simply it's the same problem as John/Mumojem and I find that to have 300 threads dealing with the same issue doesn't help the forum either.

By the way John/Mumojem, I found out that the custom style won't be loaded if you only use it for a css mods.
You have to add a /layouts folder in your new style directory and copy at least one layout template on it.
This way the new style folder will be recognized and added into the profile list.
The funny part is that afterwards you can erase the added layout template and your new style will work anyway.

Just a workaround until next Warp update.

Hi,

We've checked John.Post website via his hidden information and it looks like he has solved his issue. We can not confirm any bugs of the automatic style selection in Warp. The only thing I can offer you, is to open a new Question and add your Hidden Information to it, so we can check it. Maybe John.Post can tell us what went wrong with his problem and how he solved it yet.

best regards,
Danny

Same here. I just duplicated an existing style directory and renamed it.

Doesn't show up as an option in my template settings in the Joomla backend.

I have the same problem.

I have installed balance template and created new style called riverside with css folder and custom.css

Style wasn't detected in template management...

I also tried to create new style in template management with the same name as the folder in style directory and set is as default but my custom.css still isn't detected.

Hi,

Currently I can not say what is the cause of the your missing style, did you tried to copy an already existing style like turquoise and rename it to for example "john" and see what happens, normally it should be listed.

Danny

I placed my style in the wright path. yoo_balance/styles/mystyle/css/
I will give you backend access, in the hidden area.

Hi John,

Since Warp 6.1 styles will be detected automatically. The default style is the theme itself and the files are placed in the theme like /css/, /layouts/, ... Do you have placed your style like this yoo_balance/styles/mystyle/css/ for the css files for example? if yes and it does not work I would need a backend access if possible.

regards,
Danny
