Here is a potential solution for people who want to move a Main Menu.

I am not very good at code stuff (I can do simple CSS and HTML only), so the advice given in this forum is "scary" to me.
However, I really like Yootheme templates... EXCEPT for the immovable natures of their main menus. Sooooooo, what I did was this:

-- I downloaded the FREE version of the "Maximenu CK" (available at the Joomla Extensions directory). This is the same menu that the Joomla Extension directory site uses.

-- YES, it works vertically or horizontally in just about ANY module position in a Yootheme template.

-- There is some limited styling you can apply to the menu (background color, text color, subtext color, etc.). It is also easy to add images -- you add images in the paramenters for each individual Menu item, which you access via the Menu Manager.

-- If you want to do MORE styling WITHOUT having to fiddle with the CSS, you pay something like 11 Euros for an additional plugin that gives you a lot more styling choices.. (I went ahead and bought the extra plug in)

No, I do not work for the company that makes Maximenu CK, nor am I affiliated in any way. I am merely a designer who likes a lot more control of menu placement, functionality and style.

(And sorry, Yootheme moderators, you might not like this reply, but please don't delete it. Until Yootheme template mainmenus are a little easier to customize, allow those of us with solutions to pass them on to people with similar frustrations.)

how to make the menu buttons all to fit 100% the menu bar! instead to cut the menubar width.
