It is the same great framework we use for our own themes! This Master theme is optimized and streamlined to serve as a blueprint to build your very own custom theme. The best part is you get it for free!

Yet another theme framework?

... you might think. Warp is a lightweight theme framework we designed for developers by focusing on simplicity and usability. It's a solid tool set which assists you in solving repetitive tasks when creating themes. By design it works with different CMS systems like Joomla or WordPress and can even be extended to support others. It also covers all aspects in theme development and uses the latest web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, PHP 5.2+ and jQuery. The latest major version 6 was released last year and has been updated frequently with new features, bug fixes and improvements. Where can I get it?

The Master theme including the latest Warp theme framework is available as a free download on our theme download page. Start right away by downloading the theme package for Joomla or Wordpress. The Master theme is GPL licensed like other popular open source software such as Joomla and WordPress. It means you are free to modify and redistribute your own custom theme with the same license. What's the diference between Nano theme and Master one?

  Both are very similar. They only differ in style. Nano is more fancy and comes with 5 different design styles while the Master theme only has a very basic default style. It's just barebone CSS, reduced to the minimum...

Hi - It would be very helpful if when the backend came up with an upgrade request, I didn't have to look around your site for sometime to find out how to upgrade it. The link on the backend just takes me to your site and then I have to figure where i need to go to get the relevant download. You have great products but this is one area that could do with improving to minimize the time it takes to upgrade as my time is valuable to me.

I hate to sound stupid but here goes. Are you saying to download warp and overwrite the warp folder that's already installed? Won't that cause problems with the theme I have or zoo or widgetkit or whatever? I am using 2.5.3 theme.

I renamed my warp directory and copied the new one into it and it was fine. If it wasn't I would have deleted the new one and renamed the old one back. That procedure makes sense to me.

Still, Steven, I think you're right. If we all were websdesign experts we maybe wouldn't be buying from Yootheme. I didn't have a clue either. So, I make the conclusion that this is a theme to design custom themes and inside is an upgrade of warp which you can install to replace the warp folder in your existent Yootheme-theme. Please correct me if I'm wrong, thx all.
