Actually, this is quite simple! Here's what you've got to do:

1 ) Upload the images to one folder, using FTP or the Joomla Media Manager
2 ) Go to Components > Widgetkit in your Joomla back-end and create or choose a widget
3 ) Select the folder you just uploaded the images to, and click 'add to photo gallery'.
4 ) At 'Style', select 'Slider'.
5 ) At 'width' type the width of the images. This is the width of one single image.
6 ) At 'total width', type the width of the whole widget. (e.g. 600)
7 ) The text in the photos in Example 2 is made in Photoshop. You could use the 'Type Caption Here'-feature to create a similar effect.
8 ) Place your widget in an article, or create a new Widgetkit Module.
9 ) That's it!

I second that. I have been searching in vain for a couple of hours for some help on setting up the gallery so that it has this "Slider Example 2" effect. I am using the Quantum theme. Please understand that I am using Joomla and YOOtheme specifically because I am new to website design, so answers like, "just add this to your code" are not going to be useful. If it is necessary to add to the custom.css file, for example, then where do I add and then what do I do after that to implement within the widget?

In other words, I too need help with this. It may be simple, but I have searched and found no answers, so it's not simple for me!

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
