100% wide image background on #top-a

Hmmm, I am twisting my head. I am playing with Nano2 -> Wide profile, and I am trying to see if I can have a background image behind #top-a that covers the full width of the screen (a bit like on the inspire template).

But I am making it complicated, and that is normally a sign that I am not doing it right...

Any idea how to do it in an easy way..?

You could create a new module position and place it outside the wrapper in the template.php, so it won't be restricted by the wrapper's boundaries. Then you can publish your module to that position and give it your background image without altering the existing module positions.

But I would always recommend to create a new style to make your changes update proof.

Simple give the image a wide of 100% but nano2 don't have a div over the whole width so far i see it. So you need create a solution in the body or beneath.

Yes, I studied template.php in inspire, and figured out that I could just copy #block-top-a (and the position of it) from inspire, and give #block-top-a the background image.

Hi Waitz,
I've the same problem. Did you succeed at creating a new position outside the wrapper ? Is it in yoo_nano2/layouts/template.php ? and where (what line) have you written the new position ?

Your question is brilliant !
Please could anyone explain how to copy the top-a module from inspire to nano2

I would like to have exactly the same effect, to have a slide show as large as my screen.

Thank you so much for your support!
