How to show Zoo - Media in modules of different sizes

We have a Zoo application which contains a "Media" type, used for youtube videos. The main video is large and will be shown on its own page.
We need to also show the same video in a small module. It's working fine but there is no way to specify a different size, so the video is 3x bigger than necessary.

I tried adding a second "media" field to the application, with the right size, and use it in layout "default 3" or "default 2" in the module.

However the module still shows the wrong size (it gets the size from the first video).

Zoo 2.5.2
Joomla 1.7.3

p.s. CSS styling is not possible as the iFrame has the sizes hardcoded.

A quick fix is needed, can you at least point me to some directions to solve?

btw. I posted on the old forum, then found this message. Where do I get support?

Thank you very much

Ok I inserted the login information in the first message, thanks.

But wait!!!! You solved it already, or it was a (late) effect of the latest zoo update?

Anyhow, it's working as expected now !!!!

Thank you

Hi,

it should of course be possible to add a second Media Element. You'll have to add it to your type -> assign it to the layout default 2 -> Assign the layout to your module.

Hello Jan,
thank you for the quick answer.

This is precisely what I did.

I have an application "Multimedia" with a Type "Video" which in turn contains elements "Video" (600x400) and "VideoPiccolo" (300x250) of kind "Media".
Then I assigned VideoPiccolo in the Media position of the extension layout layout3, and used Video for layout2.

You can see it on the website in private message. I have published the module with layout3 on top and layout2 on bottom. Layout 2 has extra fields so I know it's using the layout, it's just not picking up the size for layout3.

If you want admin access please tell me how to give you the passwords on non-public forum.

Thank you,

Riccardo

Hello,

I tried again on a fresh install and this appears to be a bug.
I have a delivery date this friday to meet is there any hope to have this solved? Or at least some pointers as to where to look, Zoo is quite an impressive framework, I wouldn't want to change it against its design.

Thank you,

Riccardo
