Which template are you refering to? It might be an .svg that is used for the background.

Did you modify the template?

Was this particular background picture set by you or is it part of the original template?

I've got the same problem to. I added my own background images (3 pieces) but in IE7 and IE8 they won't appear. See www.brandweergoirle.nl for the issue.
