Please follow these steps:

• Go to virtuemart > configuration > templates in the Joomla backend
• In the group "Activate Css Styles & Javascripts" disable the option "Using the Virtuemart jQuery"

This is a deal breaker for me and this and widge tkit on this install. Wish I would have know before I started smoothing my client on this template and widgetkit...now I have to go back and find something else. Maybe SmartSlider by Offjlan

VM functionality and fast page loads is more important than a slider.

Hi I have the same problem, if I disable "Using the Virtuemart jQuery" works perfect the SlideShow, but stops working the Virtuemart Cart Shopping
I can do anything to fix it.

I spent half of the day trying to fix that too without result. This is a major problem for me, because i had a slideshow for my homepage, what has disappeared when i istalled virtuemart. I would greatly appreciate a solution to that.

Well it is clear that there is a conflict between slideshow and virtuemart, and the solution is to disable "Using the jQuery Virtuemart" in VM as the car stops working.
The solution is to place a plugin to load library, I used JQuery Easy, and everything works except that I take long to load index, one can give another solution?
