Redirect on frontend submission.

Hi,

How could I insert a url redirect after the submit button is pressed in a front-end submission? Rather than returning to an empty form with a basic message I would like to save the data and continue to an article/url.

I looked at using zoo events, but am unsure a) if this is the right direction b) of anything on that explanation!

kind regards,

Luke

Hi,

you can already include a base64 encoded link as post param ("redirect=xyz") of the URL. We'll however make it an option in the menu item with one of the next releases.

When u create menu item for frontend submission, there is option on the right in "Params" module called "Redirect after submission".

I would also like to know the answer ... front end submission is not complete without a 'thank you' note and/or redirect to a page.

a quick response appreciated ... many thanks!

Same question for me. I think this in done in the submissionController. I saw something about redirect url. If I'm wrong, it should be possible with 'saved' event. But I'm looking for the easiest and cleanest solution..

Steven, How do you do this in the menu manager? I don't see a parameter for that.
