How to update

Updating Widgetkit is pretty straightforward. Just follow these steps:

For Joomla

Just download the latest Widgetkit release and update the Widgetkit component using the Joomla Extension Installer. The installation is described in our Install Widgetkit guide.

For WordPress

To update Widgetkit just follow these steps

1. Download the latest Widgetkit version and unpack all Widgetkit files to a directory called widgetkit on your pc.
2. Using FTP, upload this directory to the /wp-content/plugins directory of your WordPress installation on your server and replace all files in the existing widgetkit directory.
