Moustache Theme

It's the end of the year and the holidays bring you our new theme: Moustache! So lean back, twirl those whiskers and enjoy our latest trim. Because the clean, flat, slightly retro inspired design of Moustache has everything you need to give your portfolio or company website a beautiful makeover.

Moustache comes with loads of great new features. Catch the eyes of your visitors with the fullscreen position, where you can put stunning images and videos. You may even use the photos we put there in our demo for your own projects. But that's not all. This theme allows you to create One Page websites with a fancy smooth scroller, thanks to the Scrollspy component from UIkit. Moustache was lovingly crafted with a lot of attention to detail. The well thought out main navigation provides the option to scroll with the fullscreen position, but remain fixed to the top of the site when browsing through the content. Also, check out the unique diamond overlays and of course the elegant two column blog layout with its centered headers and drop caps.

Moustache is based on Warp 7 and provides full support for LESS. The front-end is completely built with UIkit and can be modified through the Customizer. You can change colors, spacings and fonts without having to write a single line of code. To get you started, Moustache already provides 8 different style variations to choose from.

  • Full LESS support
  • Full UIkit integration
  • 8 pre-built style variations available
  • Smooth scroller position to create one page websites
  • Customizer with color picker and Google fonts support
  • Beautiful off-canvas navigation for mobile devices
  • All Warp framework features are available

Ok, i that case try to make something with more movement using html 5 and in the home page more like a store, magazine or catalog. No more blog style please. What about some religious template and a financial template for 2014

        Best Alejandro ;)

Nice design, but would be great to consider the next one for usage as store or catalog - a template orientated for Real Estate or Car Business - ie product listing,etc... Best regards !

I want to piggy-back on camus17 here... this is a nice template, but I believe yoo (pun intended) can do better than this. I'm sticking with yoo for now, but I really want to see more diversity and a wider range of capabilities with 2014 templates. Not since Moreno have I said, "wow!", and that worries me. I hope yoo guys can devote more time toward creating higher quality templates. I want to qualify this and say specifically that I am not a developer so probably cannot take full use of the template's capabilities. I'm just a mere 'power user'. :(

Nice template, but more diversity please.

Im Agree with you, since Moreno template things look flat and compare with other templates companies this look like that you create something real impress every 3 months. IM NOT criticize because im know your effort creating wrap 7 (IS AMAZING!) but templates is a REAL IMPORTANT PART of your customers!

        Best Alejandro ;)

I agree. So far this looks like a rehash of the Capture Theme. And it seems they have a thing for the slanted wedge for the hero image area... it many practical cases it does not "work" from a design perspective.

Great entrance when you open up the new template.

    There is a small but...

To get you down on the homepage you should either scroll or click on the navigation right. And precise the navigation should be more obvious with text or text animation

Hello there, new portfolio website! ;) Great work on this, congrats guys!

"Catch the eyes of your visitors with the fullscreen position, where you can put stunning images and videos"
So, I can insert a fullscreen video on this fullscreen position? Is there a demo of this available? Sounds cool!

Nice template but c'mon can we get more creative on the templates? Go out on a limb and try new things? I feel its always the same template somehow rearranged to make it look slightly different. Is there word on when Zoo is going to be updated? That I am looking forward to.

    Hello,
Why not make the templates in 2 colours only, white & black, let us do the colour variations, and spend that time saved on creating variations of the top section/ navigation placement.
Every theme you do seems to have a tiny landscape logo (~180x70px) . Lots of client logos don't fit this, they want it bigger, they're square or portrait style. So I spend a lot of time juggling the menu and what to do with this large space a legible square logo creates.
If anyone has some pointers on this I'd appreciate it.
This is a good looking template!
    Thx

Really like the template. It has a particular style but the main thing I like is that UIKIT is opening up the ability to have more creative websites that tell or present a story more than merely display a brochure of information. Yet all this without losing the ability to have a corporate brochure or having to code everything from scratch. Keep it coming!

Is it possible to have a slideshow of rotating images in the fullscreen position, or is it limited to 1 image? This is important for me to know, before I commit to renewing my YooTheme membership.

This theme is awesome. A great starting point for many derivatives of clean creative or corporate websites. Nice job...

Same (constructive) criticisms as the last template though, Warp7 is not great for developers, you're removing more and more options from the template manager (such as fonts) and forcing us to either use the customizer and LESS or dig through thousands of lines of code to customize via css. I dislike both of these options.

My wish list for 2014 will be to focus on keeping your core developer clientele engaged. You enable professionals to be more professional and that's something you should be proud of. Making that level of polish avaiable to non-devs is an admirable goal but not at the expense of losing the developers (as you're about to).

Do not make the same mistake that Apple has made. By dumbing down your product and turning your back on developers you are catering to a more fickle point and click audience who are less likely to stay loyal. Take the example of Final Cut Pro X which spat in the face of a loyal contingent of edit houses which were forced to move from FCP7 to Avid or Premiere Pro. Take a look at the catastrophic slide in sales of that iconic product line if you need a lesson in what happens when you ignore a professional clientele.

Hopefully this is food for thought, I look forward to seeing what you have in store for 2014.

I forgot to add, I simple overrides folder with broken out css in styles like Warp 6 would solve all of these issues for me. Thanks again.

This is a beautiful template. I definitely have a use for this one! However, I'd also like to see more templates geared to small businesses. Most of my clients prefer the older themes like Venture, Drive, Infinite, Nano2 because they have more of a corporate look to them, and less of a blog look. With those templates, it feels like the product and selling the product is the feature. With the newer templates, they tend to look more "fashionable" than practical from a sales perspective. I love the fashionable look myself, but not so practical for a small business whose main goal is to sell products.

That said, I stick with yoothemes because I love the modular layout. I also wish that modifications were a little easier to do with Warp 7, but I'm still learning, too. Training videos would be awesome! :-)
